The Band of 14AOD


This is a curiousity that may interest some readers of this blog. During WWII, my father played in an army dance band. (This was in addition to - not instead of - his regular army duties.) A number of 78 rpm records of the band survive. I don't have recording dates, but they must have been made between 1944 and 1946. You can download them from here:
